Location

You will find us in the south west of the province of Albacete. You can enjoy an authentic La Mancha plain in the Campo de Montiel and the mountainous area of the Sierra de Alcaraz.

We are connected to the capital by the only Greenway in the province, "Vía Verde Sierra de Alcaraz", which also runs through the region from one end to the other. This Greenway connects all the protected Red Natura 2000 areas in the region; "Zona esteparia de El Bonillo", "Laguna del Arquillo", "Laguna Ojos de Villaverde", "Salinas de Pinilla" and the "Sierra del Relumbrar". It also has two Natural Parks, "Calar del Mundo y de la Sima" and "Lagunas de Ruidera".

You will find traditions and festivals declared to be of tourist interest, the 6th archaeological park in Castilla La Mancha and some of the most beautiful villages in the province.
